Sophie came in our care when she was only 10 days old, after she had been abandoned on the side of the road, together with her three sisters. She was found by a colleague who took the four babies and bottlefed them. Then, the time came when the four of them grew too big for an apartment and had to be moved to a kennel. Two of the sisters were adopted and Sophie remained, together with her sister, Sara, in our care, waiting for a family of their own. Sophie is playful, energetic and enjoys the company of people. However, due to the fact that she didn’t get to experience life outside the kennel, she is quite insecure, when taken out of her environment. This is why a walk on the street or a visit at the vets will have its challenges at first. Sophie has so much to learn and she needs someone with patience and love to teach her how great the life of a dog outside the kennels can be.
